when I play a video game though, I'm more interested in exploring the virtual world and seeing what i can find. I'm not too bothered about defeating the final boss, completing the missions/carrying out objectives etc.

When we lost touch with nature, with the universe, with the clouds, lakes and birds, when we lost touch with all that, the priests came in. Then the superstition, fears and exploitation began. The priest became the mediator between the human and the so-called divine.

Second mass shooting in 2 weeks in the US.

Is it my imagination or did there seem to be much less mass shootings during Trump's presidency? If so, why was there a low incidence rate compared to (apparently) now.

I'm not a Trump supporter by the way, so not looking to score political points.

"(Reuters) - Security forces killed at least 22 anti-coup protesters in the poor, industrial Hlaingthaya suburb of Myanmar’s main city on Sunday after Chinese-financed factories were set ablaze there, an advocacy group said.

A further 16 protesters were killed in other places, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) said, as well as one policeman, making it the bloodiest day since the Feb. 1 coup against elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

The Chinese embassy said many Chinese staff were injured and trapped in arson attacks by unidentified assailants on garment factories in Hlaingthaya and that it had called on Myanmar to protect Chinese property and citizens. China is viewed as being supportive of the military junta that has taken power" - GIVE. THESE. PEOPLE. GUNS. (at least to fucking defend themselves):

  • China spreading communism once the leading economic superpower?
China is as capitalist and socially unequal as any western nation and it won't become the 'leading economic superpower' because it lacks freedom of expression and thus innovation.
