Maybe you now spell all words correctly. — Hanover

I thought maybe I had become a perfect speller till I tried to spellllll spell wrong and it let me.

I seem to have lost spell check on my system. Is anyone else losing it or is it just me?

I don't pay myself. I keep most of the money in the business for development purposes and to be able to withstand shocks (run out of work, etc.). I am quite paranoid financially. I probably live on less than some of the people I work with. My personal expenses consist of food, paying for some of my grandfather's medical expenses, books and similar stuff. All my electricity, gas, telephone, internet, other subscriptions, etc. are paid via my company — Agustino

I cannot remember if you are in the USA or not Agustino but I know back in 80' my parents company of 24 employees, not inculding them when we had the first housing crash and they were land planners and developers. My folks didn't take a pay check for 2 years because it was a choice of either paying themselves or their employees and they chose their employees. Seems noble but it backfired on them when it came to Social Security. In hind sight, they should have taken the salaries and then loaned the money back to the company. Such a simple way to achieve the same end without sacraficing their own future.

Many of the Indian nations still exist and if they arrest you on the reservation, you are NOT entitled to a phone call or a whole lot of other "rights" you have just on the other side of a street, off the Inidan nation.

I specifically remember back in December of 2007, when you and I had an exchange of ideas of what to get a Jewish person for Hannuakah. I complimented you on how thoughtful I thought you were, to go out of the way to learn something about another person's religion before spending money on a gift for them.

It seems as though there is a shortage of gaming cards on the market necessary to do other things than mine for crypto currency! My son in college is setting up a Computer Lab for VR and they are waiting on Dell to build their VR systems but are waiting on.....wait for it.... gaming cards.

There are soo many structures that I LOVE in Chicago but of all the places I LOVE, this one holds a special place in my idea of a beautiful structure dedicated to those who never walked their halls.

Above and Beyond - Veterans Museum Chicago

This display hangs in National Veterans Arts Museum in Chicago. It contains the dog tags for every U.S. Serviceman and woman killed in Vietnam. I have never felt so small as I did in standing in the shadows of those who gave the ultimate gift for Liberty.

There is a very small light at the end of the tunnel or it's an incoming train and I am in the outbound lane.

There seems to be a natural ebb and flow when it comes to "Interest in philosophy". Maybe it is our way of going out into the world to try the philosophy we gained till that point and we flow back to philosophy for more questions or more tools to help in discovering the answers.

. How do you deal with the parents of your husband/wife? — Agustino

Tolerance, a whole lot of self talk, a lot of confiding in total strangers because you certainly cannot express your frustration with your In law or their child (your spouse). The common theme I have found is that everyone, EVERYONE, understands and empathizes with ANYONE that has their "In law" living with them. My Mom has no idea how I do it and has assured my kids that Granny won't ever be coming to live with us, which resulted in big smiles.
My youngest at college is very observant and can see how she has an affect on the family balance and doesn't care for it, which means he has spent more time at school while she has been here. He is very scientific minded and like me does not believe in living, preparing for the end of the world and how we are going to survive but rather lives for today. My youngest also says that the "prep" issue brings out more of that 'conspiracy" side of his Dad.
Although, the hardest part Agustino, is that my better half has no desire to see my biological Dad in Chicago again before he passes regardless of us hosting his Mom.

She is still here.... :roll:
