No, at birth one is just that which has the potential to experience, the arrival has no memories which constitute identity. I have personally experienced briefly but often, a total lack of memory, and thus identity. The individual new born has no identity and only gains it through it interactions with its environmental context, context defines, and if one did not choose one's context, one did not choose one's identity. Nihilism is the awareness I think, that in the absence of a conscious subject the physical world is meaningless. The world we perceive is a manifestation of the alterations the energies of the physical world bestowed upon our bodies, which is experience and meaning. The relation of subject and object is then the source of an emergent reality, energy processed through our biology. Humanism and Nihilism should go hand in hand, rationally, for as reactive creatures we create our own apparent reality. Nihilism is then a light in our consciousness which enables us to realize we, life, and humanity are the ones that create the world we know.

I believe you are speaking of the Soviet Union which no longer exists. The West is the one with the outrageous history of subjugation and slavery maintained to this day. America began taking over the colonial powers of Great Britain just after the First World War. America saved their butts in that war, and the British realized that they can no longer call the shots in the world anymore, they needed the Americans.

America does colonialism different from the British, but it is even more brutal. The Brits would move into the subjugated country and take over its complete administration, bleeding the colony of its vitality through force of arms. The Americans do it too, but somewhat different, but much of their violence is covert and they are rather expert at making economic warfare upon weaker nations. The second world war the Yanks also found profitable, much of the world was devastated, America relatively untouched, they claimed to have defeated the Nazi war machine, when in fact it was Russia the crushed that monster war machine and chased it through Europe right back to Berlin. When one considers the historical cause and effect/reaction lost in obscurity, and the complexity of human biology and its history. That fact is, we are all reactive creators, and it can be no other way, as our reactions then become causal to the world at large.

You will always act in your own self-interest, according to your understanding. Morality is a social construct, common to many kinds of creatures, and their various societies. We do not experience what is real, we experience what is, as it affects us altering our biology. Apparent reality is a biological readout. It is a melody if you like, played upon us by the energies that surround us, the melody is that of apparent reality. Morality is a meaning or meanings, and completely subjective. There is no such thing as objective morality, yes, there are rules, laws and established norms, and these are understood by like selves on a subjective level. One cannot escape one's subjectivity. Again, the measure and meaning of all things is the property of subjective consciousness. The world in the absence of subjective consciousness is utterly meaningless.

Experiences are the effects upon biology of the energies around us, we do not experience the reality of this, we experience its effects, and this is what is called apparent reality. In a sense, no the mind is not of the world, it observes the objects of the world; just as you experience your body to be in the world. You do not experience your mind. You experience what comes into and goes out of the mind not the mind. Apparent reality is a sum of biological reactions or a biological readout. We don't experience what is, we experience how what is affects and alters our biological natures.

One is born with a constitution, not an identity, the constitution varies in the human species, and hopefully, one's constitution is appropriate to the context it finds itself in. This context is the mold the constitution is molded by. This process is the living of life in its context mold, and it's through this process that constitution forms an ever-changing identity. When one is born, one is potential constitution and identity is its evolutionary process of an extended life moving through its context. It is natural selection, how is that constitution fitted to society, and how is it's society fitted to the natural world, same process.

Genetics is the formula for the making of the constitution, and it is being played upon by the earth and the cosmos as its instrument, the melody that these elements play constitutes the character of the individual. Free will is an absurd concept.

There is but energy in the forms of frequencies and vibrations not all of which we experience. Objects are energy forms in the way of manifested objects because that is the way we experience given energies. Our given apparent reality is a relational fact, relative only to the biology perceiving it, in other words, energy affecting biology, biology being effected, and projecting apparent reality, a biological readout, not unlike that of a calculator.

Inequality is much like the concept of change, for the fact that it is guaranteed, a constant, and that is why greed exists, jealousy, hatred, envy, capitalism and colonialism. Equality is like the concept of perfection, totally unrealistic, but an ideal mark to shoot for, one which in fact will never be reached.

The proper subject of morality is the security and well-being of the biology of the self, within society it is an expanded concept of the self. If one were to be in the wilderness/isolated morality would be meaningless, unless you applied it to the creatures you hunt and consume. Morality is a social construct and in isolation it is not relative to another self. Another way of saying this I guess would be there is safety in numbers, societies aid a great deal to the survival and well-being of the individual.

We know that there is no color or sound in the real world, it is an effect of frequencies and vibrations on biology. So, knowing all is energy, frequencies, and vibrations, why do we assume that objects unlike color and sound really exist?

Personal perspective, when one is considering the emotions of organisms, one needs to realize that all organisms are reactive creatures. The physical world and the cosmos are causes to all organisms. The reactions of those organisms is in turn cause to the physical world, and the cosmos. It's all one system. Emotions more than thought, hardwire in the organism's measures and meanings of all things relative to the given organism. Our emotions are about the physical world relative to our security and well-being. Thoughts and feelings alter continuously the chemistries of our body relative to the organisms experiences. Organism is the source of all meanings through experience and projection applies its meanings and emotions to what it then calls its apparent reality. Psychology wants to treat the thoughts and feelings of the individual, focusing entirely on the organism's thoughts and feelings, and little to nothing about how the physical world plays the organism like a violin. The tunes it plays can be life supporting or negative, undermining the vitality of life. Perhaps, just perhaps one could be mentally ill in one environmental context, and healthy within an entirely different environmental context, depending on the tune being played by the given environment. As the individual matures it becomes the tune that particular environment has been playing upon it, and becomes a one-trick pony, repetition repetition, and a life story is heard, and heard only by the individual organism. The old saying context defines could not be truer, one's innate nature is shaped, nurtured or destroyed by context, or possibly misshaping it into a monstrosity unfit for survival. Listen to the music of the world, the total context of an adaptive/reactive organism, perhaps it needs re-tuning.

Of course, one's word given under coercion is inhibiting one's will, it is an offense against the individual. When people talk about moral facts, they are missing a vital point, facts are circumstances and/or events present or passed. Morality is based on the identification of one's self with the self in others, this even extends at times to other creatures other than humans. We identify in a creature as a like self, a like self that like us, has the capacity for suffering and joy. This is an abstract concept in a world where life lives upon the lives of other creatures. Being aware of this makes it a hard reality for a compassionate individual.

Self-interest is the seed out of which identification with others fosters the compassion that is the glue of society. Honesty is a default position self to self, one generally lies to deceive or just to maintain one's comfort level among one's peers, it is a warping of reality, however but in some degree it might be a necessity to social cohesion. We are a pattern of species with little variation, where variation is increased you have a differing of species in which the essence is in common, or as the Upanishads states, the self in one is the self in all. The starting point I would say to be honest is our common carbon-based biology, and our common essence across the board.

First, I think it strikingly obvious that nothing is permeant, when one is talking about the permeance of the soul, I would think we are then talking about identity. We are born without identity and acquire it through our experiences with our social context. We are all at birth patterns made by a less-than-perfect pattern maker, our DNA, which in turn is governed by change, impermanence, and the ever-changing world. We are an energy form which is of the nature of that which experiences the energies that surround us. Like those energies that surround us, we change form to be unmanifested or manifested into something else. Define your terms, is for this argument the soul consciousness itself? There can only be a serious argument for the permanence of the soul, if the soul is thought to be energy itself.

Morality is the awakening of compassion through identification of one's self with the selves of others. With identification with others compassion arises, and one's self-interest is thought to be the collective self-interest of our common selves. It is a social process common to like kinds in nature, and serves well as a survival mechanism. Self-interest is what is acquired through this process of socialization through what is best for all like kinds of selves. This is determined through the experience of a meaningless outer world, the outer world's effect on the organism becomes meaning to the organism, which then bestows that said meaning to the outer world. The apparent reality of the organism is that of its experiences projected upon an otherwise meaningless world. Biology is the measure and the meaning of all things.

The mindset of morality is social awareness, the formation of societies is directed to the common survival and well-being of the individual. Morality applied to an individual in isolation makes no sense, but self-interest is served in the relations of the common expanded concept of the self. Societies among other things, are survival mechanisms. One is born into a social contract, and part of that contract is to serve not only one's own well-being but the well-being of the collective of like selves.

The last vestiges of colonialism will die with the decline of the American Empire and the Zionist state of Israel. The global shift of power to a multipolar world is unstoppable, but for the death of the planet. That is what the Ukraine war is about, and that is what the Zionist-Israel war on the Palatine is about, the curtain is coming down on colonialism. Actually, that is the essential point, energy is not an object/thing, and indeed without energy being processed through biological processes there would be no thing/object. I shall watch your video; will this show me the error of my ways?

Well, to start with I guess some basics must be accepted as fact, there are two concepts of reality, apparent reality which is our everyday reality, and that of ultimate reality; which is a place/ a field of unmanifested energies, a place of no things. If you understand and agree with Spinoza's explanation of how we come to know the physical world through the alteration the physical world makes to our biology or bodies, then we are on the same page. Spinoza was a seventeenth-century philosopher and believed that appearance was reality. Modern science, however, tells us that matter is not made of matter and that all is energy. So, it is just a matter of updating Spinoza's conclusions.

The basic substance/god according to Spinoza is that which generates everything, today we have to assume it to be energy itself. So, it is energy processed through biological processes that give us objects/apparent reality. The conclusion I have come to is that objects are biologically dependent, in the sense that energies around us play us like their instrument. The melody it plays upon us is apparent reality, but only the subject consciousness can hear this melody. The subject consciousness is itself an energy form. With such speculation it would not be impossible to think, that there may be other energy forms out there of a different nature; having their own apparent reality utterly unaware of a multitude of other differing energy forms surrounding them.
