    I would say that censorship isn't necessary if you control the military. . . but then again, the military is made up of people, and you don't want those people getting any wrong ideas.

    Anyway, tell me what you think.

    Theoretically, yes.

    Realistically, hmmm... it would take a very tolerant dictator, which is rare.

    We already have free press under multinational dictatorships called 'corporations'.

    Of course not. Dictatorships own or control all news outlets and entertainment media. In 'democracies', the press is free op to some point - it varies from country to country, depending on the owners' political affiliation.
