Another way to say it, is that "Wisdom is the practical application of Intelligence". For example, homo sapiens is noted for its Intelligence relative to animals, but not so much for its collective Wisdom. That's why the world needs a few Philosophers to ascertain the difference between raw Intelligence and mature Wisdom.
