The mind is a gift so that we may see clearly the reality of nature. Though we have a body that is natural, it is erected from the dirt of the land to eclipse the temporary nature of life itself and to see past the horizon.

Our mind is a representation and a separation from reality. Such as a virus inserted into reality itself. We are distortions of the fickleness of nature. Our body is a great machine that which we owe to it the rite of passage. This is where great minds create the cardinal sin against the body.

As we ponder beyond the horizon of reality we are obligated to uncover the great mystery of existence as only a mind that is separated from reality is capable so.

Thus it is our great separation from reality that allows us to see the hidden beginning. Our bodies wish to be exalted with the separation and the universe compels us to do our duty. We are of the universe and the debt is large.

The grievances of the body must not be ignored, though our minds seek sophistication. This is the bargain that has been made.

What you mean by our separation from reality? That we can observe it from a distance, with something between us and reality? Is it our body between the world and the inner world, which gives meaning?

Only unreality (i.e. fiction) is "separate from reality".

I dunno. A read of this forum shows that plenty of minds are separated from reality.

What's odd is that they seem to be so proud of this separation...

They wear it on their sleeve, scribe it on banners, spray it on the walls of the world; and put effort into increasing the separation rather than coming to terms with how things are.

If the mind is separate from reality, where is it? Describe what it is to be "separate from reality."

"Separation from reality" is a party line some people toe now that threatening others with eternal damnation isn't all that fashionable anymore.
But the intention is the same: contempt.

After seeing the true reality of nature, some would call "The Mind", simply "a curse"...

what about, our mind is a biological phenomena and as such it is reality? (ie. there is no separation)
