Not sure where else to put this. Top 10 stories of the year, according to some NBC program. An indicator of where media priorities lie.

10 - titan submersible and moon missions
    9 - climate disasters
    8 - strikes, inflation
7 - true crimes (Alec Murdoch), natalee holloway,
    6 - Maui wildfire
    5 - AI (chat GPT)
( a lot of talk about pop culture (Rihanna, Barbie, Beyoncé))
4 - Kevin McCarthy ousted as speaker
    3 - White House race
    2 - Trump indictments
    1 - Ukraine and Israel/Gaza
    (And Taylor Swift)

How would you rank these (or others)?

I think in the long run, climate stories would be #1. The wars and the strikes would be up there.

Afraid Greta, Gore and many others have defeated their agenda with the American people by overzealous preaching and ridiculing. "Stupid people, wake up!! before you die of climate catastrophes"

But I'd move it up to #6.

Seems to me it's not a very accurate list. No mention of the Covid pandemic for example.

The pandemic was barely talked about in 2023.
