Wouldn't be surprised if Discourse and NodeBB supported it, but I've discounted them as they're a big hassle to set up. Otherwise, adding features like that is the advantage of hosting your own software. Not a dealbreaker though, I wouldn't think.

As for videos, it's not only youtube you can embed:

Not a great fan myself, but I would say definitely yes. And there are no doubt some other missing categories because I was just testing when I set it up.
