  • Integrated Information Theory
I blame Richard Maurice Bucke for the majority of the New Age movement people holding to and keeping this concept of Consciousness being this kind of highest important / value system/ style religious/ God opinion thing alive and continually circulating as if it's something that needs to be contemplated more . It's the perfect definition of mental masturbation
  • What is the purpose of dreaming and what do dreams tell us?

I agree . but to give a better idea of what i mean is that there were times that i was asleep for (the. mind perceived time span ) of a week or 2 and in reality it had just been a 9hr night and I woke up so confused as to what day it was and why i was in my bed at home /Tech.

In fact the last one was 3 months long where in me my wife and daughter had moved to are dream house I remembered the entire 3 months even the going to bed and sleeping and waking up parts too and when i woke up and it was November and not January like it was in my dream i was so split minded it took me 2 days to fully "wake up" for lack of a better term and it wad all so real that it made me question the importance of the "real" world and i didn't like that because i want to value my life as real and important. .. Crazy times..
  • What is the purpose of dreaming and what do dreams tell us?
Dreams and the dream realm have been one of my main areas of focus for well over 15yrs now .
I figured out how to lucid dream when i was 14 only I didn't know that it was called untill i was around 27 and heard someone talking about it and explained it to me and i was so fascinated that i wasn't the only person to achieve this state . I got to the point where I could lucid dream at will whenever i wanted to

I picked it back up after finding out what it was called and i had some interesting things happen that made me stop

What i mean was my dreams started lasting a really long time so much so that it was really starting to jack with my perspective of reality .

I feel that the dream realm only differs from this realm because of language/belief/repetition /confirmation /agreed upon parameters

And the natural state of the mind is more like the dream realm and that it is hard gor us to "hold" this reality and so we have to sleep and go back to are natural state for a time before doing it all over again . in fact one of the downsides to lucid dreaming is that it makes you tired and you don't wake up refreshed just like what happens if you try to stay up and not sleep.

    Food for thought .
  • Space-time and astrology
I find it strangely ironic that SpaceTime is considered a thing
  • The self, the immune system and the nervous system
You fallaciously assume that the self is an illusion based off of the fact that we get autoimmune diseases?
  • To have children or not? Nobility?
Well yeah China screwed up big time with their one child policy because they have not let go of their stupid outdated social habits like wanting a son to pass down a worthless last name because you can't do that with a daughter making which intern caused an extreme out of balance ratio of holes too polls

And the neurotic social constructs did I refer to are things like what you just said. You look at the world entirely think you grasp it then for me a pinion that there's enough people in the world and then use it as a justification I highly doubt you have the same opinion if there was no technology
  • To have children or not? Nobility?
When people start wondering if it's a good idea not to have children you can be certain that asocial conditionings over several Generations has truly saturated to the core of the human mind and created a deadly destructive neurotic perception of life that will only lead to Extinction if left alone and not dealt with
  • Mind over matter?
Yes is the answer however the atomistic believers will want it quantified and given the stamp of approval before excepting it as true
Which unfortunately isn't going to happen seeing as you can't quantify a thought
  • Why is there Something Instead of Nothing?
I don't know why it's not letting me edit my comment but the last word was supposed to be a adults but thanks to my phone it apparently thinks it knows what I should say more than I do.
  • Why is there Something Instead of Nothing?
A question like that is something small children contemplate and should have no mental entertainment by attles
  • Can God do anything?

Um no that is not what i said at all so like i said don't put words in my mouth . and as for your xyz question please use real "things" and or scenarios/situations
  • Can God do anything?

Is that the only point you plan on addressing? And you addressed in the form of putting words in my mouth? Because that's not what I said.
Let's tuch on say #3 which was

    >>>Given 3, If something is meaningful or understandable, then it is certainly not hypothetically impossible. To reiterate: ALL hypothetical impossibilities are meaningless and not understandable.<<<

How on earth would you actually know this as a fact? Have you exhausted every thought possible? I highly doubt it so please elaborate on how you know this statement to be true and by true I mean fundamentally and not just your limited human perspective that only matters to you in your little bubble
  • Can God do anything?
all. If interested in the nature of Existence, consider the following:

    >>>Core to the argument: If a given belief/theory is semantically inconsistent (as in it is hypothetically impossible for it be true) then it must be rejected.<<<

according to your limited understanding perhaps.

    >>>1) Existence being infinite accounts for why all semantics are meaningful.<<<

    huh? how why what?

    >>>2) Round squares, married bachelors, non-existence existing, sitting and standing at the same time, these are all hypothetical impossibilities. <<<

not necessarily example being we can all stand around the square before going in the pub,
you can stand for what's morally right while sitting in a meeting, you can be married to the thought of being a Bachelor for the rest of your life.

    >>>3) If something is hypothetically impossible, then it is not meaningful or understandable. <<<

ever heard of the term religion?.

    .

    >>>4) Given 3, If something is meaningful or understandable, then it is certainly not hypothetically impossible. To reiterate: ALL hypothetical impossibilities are meaningless and not understandable.<<<

I'm not sure why you're so confident about that?

    >>>5) Perfection = that which no greater than can be conceived of. There is nothing better than a perfect existence. If existence is imperfect, then perfection (a perfect existence) is hypothetically impossible.<<<

only if you are correct on your hypothesis#4 but you could be wrong.

    >>>6) If perfection is hypothetically impossible, then it should be meaningless and not understandable (see 4). Again, ALL hypothetical impossibilities are meaningless and not understandable.<<<

can you show me this perfect? I've never seen one so I'm not sure it exists have you seen one?

    >>>7) Perfection is meaningful/understandable, therefore, perfection is not a hypothetical impossibility.<<<

and what was it that you found to be perfect I would like to observe it

    >>>8 ) If Existence is perfect, then perfection is not hypothetically impossible. If Existence is imperfect, then perfection is hypothetically impossible. We understand perfection, therefore, perfection is not hypothetically impossible. Therefore, Existence is perfect.<<<

do we understand Perfection? Please give me the guidelines for what Perfection is.

    >>>Existence is perfect is the same as saying God exists. This is because a perfect existence logically entails that everyone gets what they truly deserve (it would be imperfect otherwise). This logically requires the omnipresent (Existence) to be omnipotent and omniscient. It logically requires: Existence = God (pantheism)<<<

you've obviously been shielded from reality by your parents because I can tell mommy and daddy have protected you from the unfortunates of life.
  • Why do some argue the world is not real/does not exist?
It is all part of the Ahrimanic influence that dominates Society right now
  • Truly new and original ideas?

For sure. Here's a video that a guy made that wanted to collaborate on some new topics for his YouTube channel and he really liked the idea but unfortunately like everybody else didn't really have anything to add to it but thinks it's interesting. If you have any questions on it feel free to ask.

  • Truly new and original ideas?
    I agree and can relate
I came up with a hypothesis last yr and so far i haven't found anyone come remotely close to what I have
And the people that I share it with give me the same responses that you receive.. Kinda frustrating.
  • is human creativity different from God’s? is it all about mirrors?
I've found that every attempt to explain "everything/meaning/where to/where from/why/Tec" is nothing more then a lie with different icing and sprinkles on it because language will never be complex enough to be able to unfold the Terrain of understanding within ones mind by means of spoken/written language and regardless of how honest the intentions of the one conveying the words might be they are always going to limit life so much so that the description becomes more of a stumbling block to the recipient despite the intentions of it serving as aid to the Journey.
  • Books of the Bible
Manly P hall has a very good lecture on this topic I'll see if I can find the video took linky to it
  • Using the right words
I have this boner that I love and love to show it to all my friends especially my dog and when my dog showed my boner to his dog he thought it was so funny he just had to show it to his pup (hes just a little pup about 6yrs old) and of course you know how pup's can get when shown a really good boner.

Now that story probably sounds a bit perverted at first glance but I promise you there is a valid reason for the unusual choice of words .
this little story is to prove a point about how the meaning of words change over time and how even if your talking in your native language you can still get lost and confused as to the meaning of a word or phrase depending on if its from a time period before or after yours.

So in this example I used different meanings ranging from the 1920's all the way to today
As well as a variety of cultural influences

See the name for a cartoon comedy back in the 1920's was called a "boner" because it would make you laugh so much your bones would hurt and only got its sexual meaning after the popularity of playboy in the 1950's

and obviously dogs don't know how to read comics but bestfriends do and so a "dog" is when your in the hood referring to your close buddie/friend.

So with that information I think it should completely change the interpretation of the story as well as shed a new understanding on how the original meaning of words will always change to fit the culture and the times they're in
  • Time Isn't Real
Ill throw a new perspective in the pot for contemplation .
The future and the past are just figments of the imagination and a kind of tool that we use in order to make since of the change that we see take place in the world

So in a since it is are brains way of understanding why things change .

So this is why we are convinced that time is real because we "see it" in everything around us
However just because we see it doesn't mean that what we see is in fact what we label it to be.
  • Is woke culture nothing new?
It's just the fad of the time were in nothing special about it
  • Theosophy and the Ascended Master

That was part of the plan altogether it was for krishnamurti to renounce the demigod status that he was supposed to uphold. Think about it if he accepted the position then people would not follow him or believe him because they would think he was just a prideful arrogant Antichrist but a true act of selflessness would be to deny the power and position or make everybody think you did
  • Does systemic racism exist in the US?
i did and don't snap at me if your in a bad mood im guessing you have probably had your ads handed to you seeing as there are 24 pages of replies
  • Does systemic racism exist in the US?

I'm assuming that your specificly referring to George Floyd's case BS that's been hilighted beyond belief?
  • Reality As An Illusion
The standard concept/ opinion is that we live in a state of "maya/illusion" and don't see the real reality in front of us.

But my opinion is that the real illusion is the concept that there is a fundamental view point called "reality" that anyone can technically experience this "reality " and it somehow be identical regardless of how many people get to experience it
I think that's the real illusion because we all experience a slightly different world because we have been shapeing are perspective since the day we were born and that's why a movie that makes one person cry can make the next person laugh despite being the same exact movie

And so I think reality is an illusion.
  • Thought is a Power Far Superior to Any God

Well it's just that you said you had been thinking about this for 55 years however you seem to be misusing the word thought .

As far as i understand the meaning of thought is form created in the mind, rather than the forms perceived through the five senses

And the imagination is the image-making power of the mind; the act of creating or reproducing ideally an object not previously perceived

In other words imagination is the power to create what has not been seen or known yet.
  • A fun puzzle for the forums: The probability of God

Well right off the bat the first statement you made is an assumption (a popular one ) but an assumption non the less and I'm sorry but a big bang/ 1st cause is a pathetic desperate attempt and not loosing funding and being fired for failing at finding an answer to the beginning of the Cosmos. In other words I'm calling the Big Bang Theory a half-assed concept that was pulled out of the ass of a scientist that was afraid they're going to lose funding and have to go find a different jobs so he cold that fallacious concept out of a place where the sun doesn't shine and presented it and just the right amount of fluff so that people with money would accept it and give the scientists more money.

Yes it was a harsh and very simplistic exclamation butt I want you to read it with a sarcastic undertone of Jim Carrey
  • Coronavirus

No no no see you are not understanding what im saying.

Im not tellibg you to believe me and not them

    Im saying STOP believing.
  • Coronavirus

Well honestly I feel like it won't do anything other then take up my time because your blindly assuming that the media is true and so with a food eater mentality like that there's no real point in me wasting my time.
  • Coronavirus
This is from the CDC website

"As of April 14, 2020, CDC case counts and death counts include both confirmed >>>>and probable cases and deaths<<<<<<. ( aka fluff numbers) This change was made to reflect an interim COVID-19 position statementpdf iconexternal icon issued by the Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists on April 5, 2020. The position statement included a case definition and made COVID-19 a nationally notifiable disease. Nationally notifiable disease cases are voluntarily reported to CDC by jurisdictions.

A confirmed case or death is defined by meeting confirmatory laboratory evidence for COVID-19.

A probable case or death is defined by one of the following:

    >>>>>Meeting clinical criteria AND epidemiologic evidence with no confirmatory laboratory testing performed for COVID-19<<<<

    >>>>>Meeting presumptive laboratory evidence AND either clinical criteria OR epidemiologic evidence<<<<

    >>>>Meeting vital records criteria with no confirmatory laboratory testing performed for COVID19<<<<

.(meaning fluff to make it look worse then it actually is)

    Number of Jurisdictions Reporting

There are currently >>>>60 U.S.-affiliated jurisdictions reporting cases of COVID-19. This includes the 50 states; the District of Columbia; New York City, the U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S Virgin Islands; and three independent countries in compacts of free association with the United States (Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, and Republic of Palau).<<<<<<

So this means that when they say "death toll in the US" they mean all the fluff numbers mixed in AND like 1/3% of the world's land masses not just the 50 States that you think they mean when they say "US" . And let's not forget how there are literally dozens of other things that kill 10 times as many people annually that aren't even talked about on the news
  • Enlightenment and Modern Society
I have yet to see a society capabile of actually thinking critically as individuals
  • Does the mind occupy a space?
more or less yes because you occupy space
  • False Awakening & Unknowable Reality

I'm sure of it because I have lived through it
I have been the sleeping person and the awakening person then the enlightened person then the person escaping the matrix/ tech

And then I was liberated from all of those masks and was free. And it's not anything I can verbally convey and there is no method to tell so that you can achieve it too
And I have no means of proving it to anyone nor would anyone understand it if they haven't achieved it them self's

So it's just my opinion nothing more nothing less.
  • False Awakening & Unknowable Reality
Ahh .. so much is lost over the internet that is instantly understood in person. Obviously I can hold a much better conversation in person lol
  • False Awakening & Unknowable Reality

So you replied to me with a neutral statement because I had said something that you already knew?
  • False Awakening & Unknowable Reality

True but that doesn't add or take away from my previous post so I'm not sure what your point is?
  • False Awakening & Unknowable Reality
"true reality " is the elution.

Everyone experiences a world unique to them and so because we all are experiencing a slightly different world and there is absolutely no way to experience reality exactly the same way as someone else then this means that objective reality is an elution and what we call the world of elution is infact the only world .

So then if a person "wakes up and sees the elution " and says to everyone "I know the objective reality " you can confidently assume that they have only accomplished tricking themselves and are now living in an even more complex elution then before.
