While the positivists and others have claimed they will usher in the next scientific revolution it is the Contextualists and newer disciplines such as fuzzy logic and Fractal Geometry who are invading every branch of the sciences and steadily building up a new tool kit for the next scientific revolution. The next generation computers are the last piece of the puzzle that will make most traditional metaphysical approaches outdated.

Socrates was the father of modern academic philosophy who changed the course of academia from largely focusing on metaphysical arguments like Zeno to focusing more on developing logic and ethics. The problem holding things up so far has been the full development of logic based on first principles, but that will soon be resolved and there will be no way to deny which logic or ethics are more applicable when they conform to all the physical evidence. Systems logic, as many have claimed for decades now, is the future of both philosophy and the sciences.

There seems to be no answer as to how pragmatism can actually be of any philosophical importance and become something more than merely a kind of heuristic formula for understanding the nature of the methodology of science. Socrates said, "Know thyself" and championed the Truth above all else. Wittgenstein and pragmatists like him are all part of the Socratic tradition. Without a personal truth and authenticity there is nothing to discuss and nothing to be done about it whether you consider yourself a pragmatist or not.

My own family is Irish Catholic and knows what the score is. When we immigrated to this country we became gang members and crooked cops. When Lincoln freed the slaves the Irish Catholic hung a few in NYC and rioted because they didn't need the competition for the lowest paying jobs. My family is all too familiar with want adds in the paper saying ICNNA which is Irish Catholics Need Not Apply. Bigotry runs deep and the US has just elected a bigot as president in response to Obama. Its war and this one is just getting started. My great grandmother was a half breed and when she was conceived her mother and father both moved out west to get away from bigotry. Fundamentalists of any kind tend to use the pulpit as a political stump. They tend to represent more rural views and how rural people everywhere have fended off the encroachment of civilization. In the US now the rural populations are dwindling and Obama was elected when, for the first time, the urban population outnumbered the rural.

The gun and the money do almost all the talking worth listening to just about everywhere in the world and popular religions merely reflect their socio-economic political realities. In general, different religions support different things and Christianity's strong point is it supports capitalism which is one reason long avowed atheists in China are now converting to Christianity in record numbers. Islam has proven especially popular in the developing world using the argument that without something like sharia law neither atheist communism nor laze fare capitalism can provide the poor with anything like a real sense of community.

Notably, in the developed world once a country starts providing a comprehensive security net for their population people abandon organized religion overnight like yesterday's news and start to actually do a bit of charitable work to support their own governments. Meanwhile, in the US psychiatrists have long argued that fundamentalism of any kind meets their criteria for a mental disorder and, I would argue, that militant atheism and communism do as well. What is required to end the insanity is for governments to elevate their own populations or their populations to demand serious changes. In Sweden they made child abuse or even degrading a child in public illegal by public referendum without the politicians getting involved other than to offer different resources.

So far, 32 countries have made it illegal to hit or strike a child, while the wealthiest country in the world still has the worst social record in every regard and is by far the most religious in the developed world. Money is doing all the driving, while the fundamentalists keep arguing the rest of the world is their problem and the worst social problems inside the US are all in the Bible Belt. That's the same problem that was documented as the cause for the rise of Nazi Germany, religion and culture promoting everyone capitulating to authority whether it be religious or government.

A newer argument is that authenticity is the issue rather than knowledge. Without authenticity the brightest lights can be left on because nobody is ever actually home. Trump showing interest in Russian affairs is simply a sign that the technology is catching up and its almost time to exploit more Russian wealth. The cops are not necessarily racist, they are simply doing their job which, unfortunately, today means racial profiling. They are deliberately targeting blacks because cops get promoted according to how many successful busts and convictions and courts are more likely to convict a black man. Nor is it illegal for them to do so and it doesn't mean that the courts are overwhelmingly racist, it means they are racially biased and they are promoting racist policies and racist policing.

The poor and working class know damned well what is going on which is why as the war on drugs has escalated people are now executing cops and rioting in the streets knowing there is no justice in or out of court, while the middle class merely shakes their heads wondering "Why can't we all just get along?" and vote with their wallets like good little drones.

For a decriminalized substance its still responsible for 45% of all drug related arrests and our new attorney general is quoted as saying he thought the KKK was OK until he found out they smoked pot. That's pretty much par for the course in any country. You join the military and Uncle Sam owns your ass. You can't even legally get a tatoo or cut your hair some funky way without being subject to the UCMJ. The reason is that "Ours is not to question why, our's is just to do or die" when on the front lines. You jump when they tell you too and duck as well and if you can't trust those in charge they may wind up dead.

Western philosophy is better for elegant simplicity and easier error correction, while Asians do better with the humble simplicity of systems logic which can be more creative. There are many moralities, but few that ever focus on their own economic roles in society. In the US we like to say we have the best justice that money can buy because morality is not our strong point as a nation. Conservative complain nonstop about abortion, but seldom adopt children or even vote to support those in need. In fact, the Bible Belt has the worst statistics and spends all their time blaming everyone else. If no one addresses the economic issues the problem will never be addressed constructively.

A machine that no one has built doesn't exist. A machine that someone isn't responsible for according to the law doesn't exist. Call all of existence a machine without a creator and you are merely playing with semantics.

Anyone joining the military is automatically considered property of the state. They can legally do anything they want with you because you are no longer considered just another human being. A machine without an owner is a contradiction in terms.

People often argue that a fetus is a human life and that all human life should be valued equally. I don't see how we as a society could do that. More specifically I don't see any logically justifiable reason to hold human life to a higher importance than all life. The concept of all human life being equal but more important than lower intelligence life is ridiculous. To me the logical step is to make a value hierarchy for all life. Johnathan Swift, author of "Gulliver's Travels", wrote a scathing sarcastic newspaper editorial suggesting that the solution to the "Irish Problem" (the potato famine) was to eat Irish babies. The English landlords had created the problem in the first place by raising rents so high the peasants could only survive by growing almost nothing but potatoes which was a recipe for disaster when a blight struck their crops. Anyway, Swift proposed that it was every Englishman's duty to eat Irish babies and help solve the crisis and for his efforts he received several thousand letters asking where they could buy their babies and find recipes.

The issue is economic and has little to do with anything else. For thousands of years Chinese peasants used to abandon female newborns on the side of the road as useless baggage that could not help support their family. Yet, a female anthropologist was once asked by a primitive tribe she was studying what her birth control pills were for and they where shocked. The entire village surrounded her asking why she didn't like babies. Birth control and abortion were unknown to them and the idea that anyone would not want as many babies as they could have was simply strange and inconceivable because money was just as unheard of as well.

Notably, the US is the wealthiest country in the world and those complaining about abortion the loudest are in the Bible Belt which has the worst social record in a country with the worst social record in the developed world. In other words, those complaining the loudest are the ones with the highest rates of abortion and who support the capitalistic system the most.

Wrong, by my admission they justify themselves. Other than using analogies, I can no more explain how they justify themselves then I can explain color to a blind man. But I can assert that those who claim they don't justify themselves are living in denial and use a pragmatic approach to prove the point.

The wave-function is the Face of God, or the Greater Context of the Truth if you prefer, that which none may know in all its glory. It is where the context and content meet with their identities becoming conflated and indeterminate. That's why for all practical purposes photons express the same behavior as their own shadows being instantly absorbed and emitted and displaying no preference even mathematically for any direction in space or time. Its a question of how humble their contents and contexts are relative to the observer which is why both shadows and quanta can express apparently acausal behavior. It means they should be measurable for both bandwidth potentials using differentials and juxtapositions for integrals that, combined, form a self-organizing system.

In a universal recursion of the law of identity everything including our intuition would obey pattern matching and the first five pattern matching neural networks have already been mapped in the brain. They're much larger than I thought they would be and science documenting them means it will become possible within decades at most for modern science to follow Alice down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. They've also taken real time movies of our neurons changing their connections as they dance with one another like so many ribbons balled up in knots constantly re-configuring themselves. Its an analog design where what is the brain and what is the mind becomes context dependent because the two are actually indivisible at some fundamental level and can substitute for one another.

More fundamentally, the implication is that the human mind and brain and evolution itself are all creative engines that only superficially resemble computers. Our subconscious mind and conscious mind as well appear to generate all sorts of gibberish playing around with different patterns and the more harmoniously our conscious and subconscious minds can share a gentle sense of humor and aesthetic appreciation the better they can communicate. Everything being context dependent means which is our conscious and unconscious mind is also context dependent and part of the same pattern matching ruling the universe.
