so, little kids that die of brain cancer deserve it because they would have grown up to end the world. Got it. how do you know that life would out compete any new life arising? We would have evidence for that in the fossil record if it were true.

life started exactly once in 4 billion years on earth. That heavily implies it’s a one off event.
