Slightly off topic. I'm still getting used to the format here, but for some reason my avatar isn't showing up.

Go to "You", click "Edit Profile", and then "Edit Thumbnail". Highlight the area you'd like to have as the thumbnail and click "Save". It looks like your current thumbnail is the top left corner of the full image, hence appearing white.

This looks good. The old PF seems to be declining, and I was beginning to be concerned that many of the highest quality thought contributors were jumping, or had jumped, ship.
I was known as ' Thresholdsun' over there, but when I signed up here I put my real name into 'name' box, therefore let it be 'John'
