An easy answer to to that is to point out that "philosophy" is really just an aspect of critical thinking and for one to ask themselves is it worth it for one to develop critical thinking skills. Or in the words of Socrates (or perhaps Plato, since he was the one who wrote what Socrates "supposedly" said):Is it worth studying philosophy? — Mayor of Simpleton
