Perhaps children can learn well by understanding only the higher ideals that was taught from an imperfect teacher. I think there is a Bruce Lee quote about being a good teacher by in part restraining ones own worst self. But I guess I wonder if a teacher can be so imperfect that they can only see the final goal, but not really have the understanding to get someone else there? They would be too ignorant to know that a better teacher is needed?

In Catholicism it is believed that a person isn't complete without their body fully restored at the end of days so technically in that view the soul on its own if it exists isn't the whole thing.

As far as the brain alone it has many thoughts and processes that can seem chaotic that needs to be focused in the same direction. Maybe that's the best definition of a self since we aren't simple robots that are perfectly linear?

How about this. Is there any reason why the UN shouldn't gain exclusive control over the region and turning it basically into a state park for people to visit and appreciate the religious/historical sites? That way nobody that wants that land can have it claiming it belongs to their people? Fighting based on religion can't end, but if it isn't a home land to be gained it's just a nature preserve to be visited.

I don't know the age, race, or gender of anyone here. I was kind of hoping there was a source for information on what a majority of people of different races want. I don't know anymore what can be seen as sexist or racist and I worry some more left leaning news networks only represent the more fringe of people. I'd like to know what most everyday people of different ethnic groups feel is needed in society. I worry if I don't specifically look for a group for minority groups I'll only get a bunch of white people.
